Go Ask Alice- Anonymous -DAY ONE
I was originally planning on reading FALLOUT, the sequel to CRANK and GLASS, but I had trouble really getting into the new perspective of the book which is from the outlook of Kristina's three children.
I started to read Go Ask Alice instead. So far I haven't learned much about it except for that the main character has purchased a diary in hope that it will help her vent about her life as a fifteen year old. She has so far written about how sick of her old hometown she is and now is moving to a different state with her family. She hopes to find a new beginning at her new home and a fresh start from her boring home now.
(The book Go Ask Alice is completely anonymous, and is written in diary format.)

GLASS- Ellen Hopkins OVERALL SUMMARY.
Chase goes away to college and leaves Kristina alone to raise her new baby Hunter. It isn't long though until Bree finds her way back to the Crank, and her mother kicks her out, taking Hunter into her own custody. Throughout the book Kristina(Bree) jumps from house to house finding ways to both stabilize her life and still have full access to her addiction of meth. Finally though, Bree finds someone knew, someone she loves even more than any of the other boys, Trey. They eventually move in together and after adapting to a life of burglary, drugs, and lies, Bree finds herself in more trouble than she has ever imagined. Turning to fleeing the state of Nevada with Trey, things turn from bad to worse when a police officer is surprised to find a half pound of 90% pure crystal methamphetamine, digging both her and Trey into a new level of trouble. Along with that, If being cuffed, and up for time in the slammer isn't enough, Bree finds out that she is once again pregnant, but this time with Trey's baby. Jail time, a new baby on the way, old baby out of her custody, Where with Kristina's life take her now?!
Next book I am going to be reading is FALLOUT- Ellen Hopkins. The sequel to both CRANK and GLASS.

CRANK- Ellen Hopkins. THE END
I have finally finished CRANK and from what I left off Kristina returns home from her birthday night with Chase and her parents could not be more furious. Kristina would have acted rationally but considering the fact that she is under the influence of the "monster", Bree has taken complete control. Not only does Bree flip out on her parents but takes the jump to shout a big "f--k you" at her mother. Being grounded isn't at all the least of Bree's (or Kristina's) problems. It's not long until Robyn, a friend of Bree, begins to supply unlimited amounts of meth to Bree, and eventually gives her the chance to catch a quick buck by selling it even to her friends on the avenue, otherwise known as the drug addicted friends that she sees as her kind of people. Eventually though, Bree is shocked to uncover that she has missed her period for quite some time revealing that she is pregnant, but not with Chase's baby but her rapist, Brendan. Now, If things haven't become messed up enough for her, Bree still has not yet discovered the answers to resolving her addiction to meth. It seems that even though the pages have ended, the story has just begun.
The next book I am reading is GLASS, the sequel to CRANK.
